I have been blogging now for more than 20 years.
I have worked as an educator in Berlin in Germany, later near Hamburg in North Germany and then I went to Windhoek in Namibia, where I was a teacher of German and English at the DHPS, one of the oldest German Schools in the world. Leaving Namibia in 1994, I travelled with my 1st wife and 2 schoolchildren through NZ for 4 months, only camping and hiking, and we went from there to LA and California for another 6 weeks.
Back in Germany I went on teaching at a German High School until 1998 and moved from there to Brisbane in QLD Australia, where I was responsible for German as a Foreign Language (LOTE and DaF).
